2022 has been another wonderful year for visitors in the Dells, and one of our favorite things to see is the amount of families sharing memories at many of our kid-friendly destinations. From indoor amusement parks to wonderful waterparks and even the vast and delightful skiing and tubing that makes Wisconsin so memorable, there is no shortage of fun for all ages in Wisconsin Dells. 

For family fun all year-round, nothing beats a trip to Knuckleheads Trampoline and Indoor Amusement Park. Knuckleheads promises There’s a bit of something for everyone to enjoy whether you’re a kid or a kid at heart, from their exciting trampoline park that allows families to jump around for as long as they like, to a fully stocked arcade with the best video games of the past and present. The fun doesn’t stop there! There are many rides as well, from simple fun for small children to more thrilling rides for the older members of the family, making sure that Knuckleheads is a day’s worth of fun for the whole crew. 

Beginning in December, the always popular Palace Theater will be bringing their own brand of holiday magic to the Dells, with A Christmas Sonata, a brand-new family friendly performance. This production, crafted by the Sigman Brothers, combines 3 famous holiday stories (The Three Skaters, The Little Match Girl, The Gift of the Magi), along with their own signature magic for wonderful storytelling, creating something wholly unique and magical for the whole family. Children will especially marvel at the holiday spirit on display, and this show is the perfect way to celebrate the season as the weather turns blustery. 

And of course, one of our favorite holiday activities for the family during the winter season is skiing, snowtubing, and more at Christmas Mountain Village. Everyone from the youngest of beginners to the most experienced teens and adults are welcome, with 16 slopes of varying difficulty, breathtaking views, and rentals available for all your snowy needs. Christmas Mountain also offers instruction for young ones just starting out, so be sure to bring the whole family along for a whole day of fun, no matter the experience level!
