Wisconsin Dells in the spring and summer is one of the most scenic and beautiful areas in the country, and we love welcoming guests of all ages to our area. From the many waterparks to live entertainment to Duck tours, there’s no shortage of ways to experience the great outdoors in the Dells. But what about when you want to kick back and relax, taking in some delicious food and drink in the midst of the perfect weather? Fortunately, Wisconsin Dells is also known for its amazingly tasty wineries, with a diverse lineup to satisfy every palette, all while being immersed in the beauty of the area. 

Located in nearby Baraboo, Balanced Rock Winery is a family owned, boutique winery located on the doorstep of scenic Devils Lake State Park. They feature both an impressive facility for making wine and a comfortably homey tasting room ready to welcome all guests to indulge in their delicious wines. Balanced Rock specializes in the cold grape varieties that survive the sometimes frigid chill of Wisconsin winters, and their wines are a perfect expression of the boldness of these grapes. With a delicate care to every step of harvesting and crafting, Balanced Rock perfectly represents the spirit of our area.  
 
Another one of our favorite spots to spend a relaxing day outdoors is the Fawn Creek Winery, the most scenic and delicious winery in Wisconsin Dells. Nestled in the forests of Dell Prairie, Fawn Creek Winery sits on a quiet piece of nature, allowing you to immerse yourself in the beauty of the Dells while sampling some of the best wine in the area, playing disc golf, or having a little friendly competition with their many yard games. On weekends Fawn Creek's quiet neck-of-the-woods is transformed into the best music venue in Southwest Wisconsin, with live local music filling the air every Saturday. 

Across the river in nearby Prairie du Sac is the historic Wollersheim Winery. Located on a scenic hillside, Wollersheim Winery has been creating some of the area’s most delicious wines since the 1840s, winning countless awards in the process. With both a winery and a distillery on site committed to celebrating Wisconsin ingredients, there’s something here for every taste! The grounds stretch across 27 acres of vineyard, with underground limestone aging cellars and plenty of picturesque surroundings in which to soak up the sun. Don’t miss out on one of their fabulous tours while you’re there! 

For a winery with one of the best panoramic views of the area, be sure to stop into Baraboo Bluffs Winery. This small family-owned winery sits on the northeast corner of the Baraboo Bluff Range only minutes away from the Dells, and features beautiful views, a wide selection of wines, and more. Don’t forget your picnic basket, Baraboo Bluffs offers space on the hillside for a wonderfully scenic lunch!
